Joseph Aloysius Wisneski Jr.
86, of Maywood, formerly of Lodi, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Before retiring, Joseph worked for Lever Brother Corp, Edgewater, as a dock-worker, union advocate and shop steward. He was an avid fisherman; life-long NY Giants fan; creative artist in many mediums; little league coach; hard working family man; handyman extraordinaire with a passion for H-O and N gauge model trains; and a supportive, guiding, and loving father.
Cherished husband of the late Helen (nee DeMott, 2015); and loving brother to the late Lee Hager. Beloved father of David of Maywood, Carol Wisneski-Cag and her husband Ray of Maywood, and Joseph A. III and his wife Mary of Highland Lakes. Treasured grandfather of Katie and her husband Jesse, Alyse, Jennifer and her husband Kenny, Aaron, Adam and his wife Ashley, Joseph IV and Amanda; and to great-grandchildren Madelyn Rose, Adam David Jr, Evelyn Ivy, and Harrison Frost. Dear brother of Marge Lanthier. Adored Uncle Al to many nieces and nephews, and countless great nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Friday November 22, 2019 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday November 23, 2019, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus, NJ. Interment Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, NJ
