Born in Budapest, Hungary, he was an adoring husband to his late wife Maria (née Szlatki), a committed father to his son Jonathan, loving grandfather to his grandson Jackson, the son of Károly and Judit, and brother of Karl and late sister Judit.
Janos was committed to living a life that he loved-one of adventure, happiness, excitement, and self-expression. He approached every moment of every day with joy and passion, and spent time understanding and developing authentic relationships with all around him.
Janos’ love and lust for life radiated from his presence and impacted the lives of everyone he met-from his closest friends and family, to strangers he encountered as he traveled and lived across Hungary, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Venezuela, the United States, and elsewhere. Janos loved people and understanding their motivations and desires. He naturally connected with all he encountered, and encouraged everyone to understand that life is precious and should be lived to its fullest and with great enjoyment.
Janos communicated his passion for life through his artwork. He made his livelihood as an entrepreneur around his love and talent for art-building himself into an accomplished and celebrated artist whose work adorns the homes and offices of family, friends, celebrities, politicians and collectors across the globe.
Janos is survived by his beloved son Jonathan, daughter-in-law Cheryl, grandson Jackson, brother Karl, nieces Emma and Katarina, nephew Anton, sisters-in-law Gitta and Margareta, brother-in-law Joe, and many other loving relatives in the United States and abroad.
