(nee Kappmeier), 81, of Effort, PA, formerly of Elmwood Park, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Before retiring Margaret worked as a Bookkeeper for G&G Distributors in Saddle Brook, NJ. She was a parishioner of St. Anne RC Church in Fair Lawn, NJ.
Dear wife of the late Norton Bier (1992). Loving mother of David Bier and his wife Lisa of Effort, PA. Beloved sister of Charles Kappmeier and his wife the late Jean (2009) of Maywood and Catherine Gherardi and her husband John of Elmwood Park. Loving grandmother of Kristen, Ryan, Justin and Nicholas. Cherished aunt of Jayne Gherardi and Scott and Chris Kappmeier.
Funeral Service Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 9:30 AM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S-113 Farview Ave., Paramus. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
Donations may be made in her memory to the VNA Hospice of Monroe County, 502 VNA Rd., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
