Jennie Iannacone

(nee Monaco), 102, a beloved resident of Maywood, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2012 with her family by her side. She was a
beloved wife of the late Pasquale Iannacone. Loving mother of Palma Senst, and the late William Senst, and Patricia Edmonds, and the late William Edmonds. Dear grandmother of John Galletta, Jr. and his wife Sandy, Debora Mark and her husband, Kevin, Patrick Edmonds and Nicole Williams. Great grandmother of Tiffany, Tyler, and Alyssa Mark, Morgan Williams, the late William Patrick Edmonds, Sydney Edmonds, Devon Edmonds and Abigail Willner.

Jennie was born on September 17, 1909, in Paterson, NJ, to Joseph and Angelina Monaco. She lived in Paterson for her entire childhood and attended school until the 8th grade. After she completed her education was employed at L & R Sportswear as a seamstress. She met the love of her life, Pasquale, in 1930 and they were married on April 30, 1930. They owned restaurants and bars in Fairlawn and Paterson throughout their lives. They built their first home in Fair Lawn, NJ in 1942 and resided in Fair Lawn until they moved into their home in Maywood, NJ in 1972. They were married for 62 years.

Jennie was a source of love and strength to her family and friends. She lived a full and happy life and spent her final days surrounded by the people that meant the most to her.

Funeral Service 9:00 AM on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S-113 Farview Avenue, Paramus followed by a 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Maywood. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 4pm-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to the Hospice House at Hackensack, 336 Prospect Avenue, 7th Floor, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
