88, of Paramus, passed away on Sunday, January 01, 2012. Before retiring Edward worked as an Engineer for Becton Dickenson in Rutherford, NJ. He graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and received his Masters Degree from New York University. Edward was a member of the Paramus Elk Lodge #2001, Paramus Senior #1 Club, VFW Paramus Post 6699, American Legion Post 170 and a member of the Bergen County Historical Society. He was a Navy veteran who served our country proudly in the South Pacific during World War II and a member of the Old Paramus Reformed Church. Edward was an Avid Gardener and Golfer; he was very active in sports and enjoyed the Theatre.
Dear friend of Barbara Mc Cann and Irma Leeds. Predeceased by his son Bruce Lutz (2009). Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Old Paramus Reformed Church, 660 E. Glen Avenue, Ridgewood. Interment Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood. Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S-113 Farview Ave., Paramus.
