The Vermeulen Memorial Home, established in 1964 by the
Vermeulen Family was constructed as a funeral home and the
residence of William Vermeulen Jr. Purchased by the Vander
Plaat family in 1970 the name was changed to reflect the merger
of two of New Jerseys most respected family owned funeral
homes.

The Vander Plaat reputation for excellence is manifest in both of our
Paramus and our Franklin Lakes locations, where superior facilities and
fastidious attention to detail are a family tradition.
